With Passion & Pride
We take pride in the coffee we serve you, in the French-inspired food on our menus and in the stylish and comfortable surroundings we invite you to relax in.
From that first punchy coffee in the morning to a relaxing drink at the end of the day, from a Saturday afternoon sharing platter with a glass of bubbles with friends to a long, lazy Sunday brunch with the family, Café Du Jour is with you every step of the day.
Our café on Whiteladies Road opened in 2008 and in 2015 we opened our second café at the bottom of Park Street. Both venues are available for events and private hire and we also offer an extensive, bespoke catering service, perfectly tailored to suit your event.
The Team Behind Cafe Du Jour
Café Du Jour is proud to be independent. Manager Hasan Tigoglu has been in the hospitality trade for more than 20 years, managing cafes and restaurants overseas and in Bristol. Hasan is passionate about what he does, sharing a love of good food, good wine and great coffee with his customers!
Hasan’s business partners are John Sulzmann and Seath Herbert who together co-founded Bristol-based Artworks Solutions 16 years ago. The three found they had a lot in common (a love of coffee, food and fine wine) and decide to open the second Café Du Jour on Park Street.
Lukas Lukasik is our Senior Manager and works in both cafes. Known and loved by our regulars for the best ‘get up and go’ coffee in Bristol, he keeps Café Du Jour shipshape and Bristol fashion!
